We have
been carrying out complete designing of power plant from the size of 0.5 MW to 7 MW
and higher capacity of plants. In this we meticulously design the power plant right
from soil testing, proper placement of power plant in the factory premises, so that
the power losses and the effect of factory surrounding does not spoil the economy and
capacity of the plant.
As a consultant to the client our main approach towards the selection of plant till
the installation and commissioning, we act as partners. The availing of the main plant
to the smallest machinery items are microscopically checked for the cost, quality,
running performance, maintenance requirement, availability of spare parts and vendors’
reliability, experience, knowledge and reputation in the market.
Procurement and inspection
Again to select the right type of main power plant machinery, especially the second hand
machinery, we check and recheck each and every part with full engineering and working
knowledge of diesel engine. Here we would like to highlight our specialty in inspection
of diesel engine, turbines and other machinery which are found in power plants. As a
result, since last 20 years, we have been procuring, installing and commissioning the
marine based diesel engine plants of 5 MW turbines and power plant related machinery for
power plants as mentioned above. Our teams of engineer practically carry out the
inspection by opening the important portions of the engine and assess the condition of
the diesel engine, which can deliver the expected power for number of years at most
economical procurement cost.
Overhauling
Highly experienced team of engineers, technicians and assistant technicians carry out
dismantling of entire diesel engine to the stage where each and every part is
microscopically checked. The hydro testing, ultrasonic checking and MP testing is
carried out on each and every part for their reliability, strength and durability.
During the overhauling process, the dimensions of each and every part are checked with
latest instrument and technology. The complete inspection report of measurement
strengthens the reliability of overhauling and subsequent running of the engine and
alternator.
Erection
Prior to carrying out his activity at the sight, our engineers and designer layout
complete plant detail on various sizes of drawings. These drawings for machinery layout,
pipeline layout, electrical system and cable layout, exhaust and chimney system are
checked and rechecked with various angles of power plant requirement, like easy
accessibility to each and every components and machinery. It is also viewed for easy
maintenance approach, minimum pollution having well ventilated and safe working
environment for the operating staff.
Commissioning
During this stage, the specialized team of engineers and technicians specially organize
the commissioning program. The close coordination with the client the vendors and the
commissioning team. This team also ensures hydro testing of pipelines, leveling and
alignment of auxiliaries, stress free and well lay out piping system, electrical cabling
system, tank farms, cooling tower system, ventilating system and fire & safety
system.
A separate team looks after the electrical system, instrumentation and annunciation
system during the commissioning stage. This team also ensures the electrical
installation in line with the electrical regulatory board.
Trial and Testing
Our team of engineers and technicians systematically carry out rigorous trial of main
power plant machinery along with auxiliary machinery, electrical system, instrumentation
system and enunciator system. At each and every stage, the performance of the main plant
and the system is well monitored, checked and cross check with the relative auxiliaries
and electrical system in the phase manner. This ensures the 100% successful trial, so
that once the power plant is commissioned, one doesn’t have to go through so called
teething problems. This also ensures the client for the commissioning and production
dates to meet as per planning.
